Woman’s Commercial Restroom
Occupied Building Restroom Renovation – 6-Story Professional Office Building
For this project, TH & Max Construction completed a full renovation of a women’s restroom inside a six-story professional building — all while the property remained fully occupied and operational.
We began by carefully removing all existing tile and outdated finishes, establishing proper protection and containment to keep surrounding offices clean, safe, and unaffected. Once demolition was complete, we added new wall backing where required to ensure the new tile system had a solid, long-lasting foundation. We then removed and closed off old, outdated soffits to open up the space and modernize the ceiling layout.
To upgrade both appearance and functionality, we installed new recessed can lighting to replace the original fixtures, dramatically improving brightness and overall presentation. From there, we installed new tile throughout the entire restroom — both walls and floors — with a tight layout, clean transitions, and a durable finish designed for high-traffic commercial use.
The renovation was completed with the installation of a new custom-built sink, new restroom dividers, and the repainting of the existing doors to restore a clean, modern look. The entire project was executed on schedule, under strict cleanliness standards, and without disrupting daily building operations.
This project reflects our ability to handle detailed commercial renovations in occupied environments — combining demolition, framing and backing, lighting, tile, finish work, and final detailing into one clean, coordinated build.
