This project involved installing a custom turf ceiling system in a 15-floor professional office building for Williams Architects in Itasca, Illinois. The goal was to integrate a modern architectural ceiling feature into an active corporate environment while maintaining a high level of cleanliness, precision, and professionalism throughout the build.

Because the system required fastening directly into concrete structure, much of the work had to be performed during off-hours to minimize disruption to building operations. Our team coordinated closely with building management and other trades to complete drilling, layout, and installation during unconventional time windows, ensuring the project stayed on schedule without impacting tenants.

All tracks and channels were pre-painted before installation to ensure a clean, finished appearance from every angle once the ceiling system was in place. An extensive laser layout was used to achieve consistent spacing, level alignment, and seamless integration with existing mechanical, electrical, and architectural elements above the ceiling plane.

This project demanded a high level of planning, overhead installation expertise, and attention to detail.
